About Aviation Week Network's Laureate Awards

The Aviation Week Network’s Laureate Awards recognize the extraordinary achievements of individuals and teams in our esteemed industry. These accomplishments embody the spirit of exploration, innovation and vision that inspire others to strive for progress, change and leadership in aviation and aerospace. The Laureates awards are the must-attend event for the industry and attract an audience of 400+ of the industry’s most elite professionals and influencers.

How to Nominate

The Laureates Awards has 6 major categories:  BUSINESS AVIATION, COMMERCIAL, DEFENSE, MRO, SPACE, AND EXTRAORDINARY ACHIEVEMENT.

  • You may submit up to three (3) different nominations in different categories 
  • Nominations will be considered for achievements that took place between October 2022 and October 2023. Nominations close on October 23, 2023.  
  • The Award for Lifetime Achievement, part of the Extraordinary Achievement category, honors an individual(s) whose distinguished career and contributions have sought to expand the boundaries of innovation, perception and wisdom.  Recipients of the award will show exemplary commitments to the industry and demonstrated innovative and visionary leadership. 

Things to consider when nominating:

A strong nomination will clearly identify how the nominee’s work embodies:

  • Collaboration
  • Innovation
  • Contribution
  • Impact 

Review of Nominations:

  • All nominations will be reviewed by the Aviation Week Network Editorial Committee.
  • The Committee will discard nominations that replicate entries from the same teams/ company programs/product.
  • The Committee will go through a pre-selection, reviewing and ranking each nomination and advancing the winners for each Major Category

(Note: The Editorial Committee may elect to move nominations from one category to another if better suited to that category.)

Pathfinder Award NEW FOR 2024

Tomorrow's Leaders

Four cadets and midshipmen from U.S. military academies will be selected to receive this award honoring young men and women who have chosen career paths in the armed forces.
